I stayed two nights in the hotel section in a superior room. It was fully self contained and extremely spacious, easily accommodating the 4 if us with an extra bed ordered. The tropical gardens surrounding the decent sized pool and throughout the various villas and motel rooms made you feel like you had your own private sanctuary in the heart of the CBD. Everything is within walking distance and there was secured car parking available. This is really affordable, clean accomodation for the family travellers, this was also one of the only places that could accomodate 4 beds too. The location is really central and 2 minutes from the sea, lovely gardens with plenty of shade and a lovely pool. We stayed in a Superior Motel Room (3 adults) which was comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the dining room where we had a very good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and Ian was particularly helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Darwin.Stayed May 2015, travelled with friends

We found this resort to be clean, easy to access the city & very helpful. We used the BBQ on our veranda & next day it was returned cleaned ready for use again. The pool was clean & the whole place made us feel we were in an oasis. Even though the room seemed small the area under cover outside made up for that.

Relaxing and conveniently located set in tropical gardens. Our cabin was small, but very comfortable with our own private outside area with BBQ. The swimming pool was bigger than anticipated and very clean and yet another BBQ and great ambience with palms and lounges. The location opposite the park and the water was perfect, close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Parking was free. We needed disabled parking and this was provided. Nothing was too much trouble - the staff made our stay perfect.

I have stayed here twice now, the last time in a Villa, which was right beside the pool. The villa came with a comfy queen bed, great shower and veranda with a BBQ and inside was a small kitchenette. The rooms are serviced daily and are spotlessly clean, staff are very helpful and breakfast in the dining room was great. This resort is one street back from Mitchell Street so you are surrounded by great places to eat. It is an easy 20 minute walk to the wharf where you can dine out on a variety of food styles. You are also on the esplanade and close to open air cinema and all that Darwin City offers. The bus stop is a short stroll and bus drivers are really happy to help. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, great value for money, great service, free Wi-Fi, ice cold water in fridge. Good laundry facilities and a great well serviced pool.
