  • We arrived at 1am and were checking out the next day so didnt get to experience too much at the Palms resort. Stayed in a Villa and everything was supplied that we required. The Villa was spotlessly clean, we got to use the pool the next day which was an awesome temperature, the grounds were well maintained and I would stay longer next time. Front desk staff were friendly.

  • Hi we are currently staying here in the resort and it has been great. Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. The villa we are in is downstairs by the pool and is very comfortable. Our only problem with noisy guests lasted about 10 minutes, until the night staff quietened things down. I wonder why that other guest didn't call them instead of complaining afterwards? My only complaint is that the reading lights are really bad as the globes are not bright enough. Otherwise, it has been a pleasure to stay here. Stayed January 2014, travelled as a couple

  • We stayed for four days very recently and were thrilled with the wet season value. We stayed in a deluxe villa knowing that it wouldn't be a large room. The bed was comfortable though one improvement would be better pillows. Everything was very clean and the resort as a whole felt like a tropical getaway. The location was wonderful - a quiet oasis after the bustle of Mitchell street. We made use of the internet special for breakfast. While we were pleased with the breakfast room, the quality of the food was dependent upon which staff member happened to be working. We lived staying at this resort and have already recommended this to others. We will most definitely return. Stayed January 2014, travelled as a couple

  • Stayed for a week Although rooms are small They have every thing you need. Motel rooms are nice. But villa rooms have a nicer feel With sink, microwave and a BBQ on the deck.. So you can cook at the room or in the pool area. And if you don't want to cook you can walk to Mitchell st That is just around the corner If you want to go out for a drink or something to eat Stayed February 2014, travelled on business
    Great place to stay
  • I stayed two nights in the hotel section in an upgraded room. It had a small kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, tea pot, sink and all of the necessary utensils for cooking and eating. The room itself was large and spacious. And the balcony was also a pleasant place to sit. The gardens & palms surrounding the place made if feel like you were in a small piece of paradise. I stayed one night at the Hilton down the street and payed a lot more for a lot less. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Stayed February 2014, travelled solo
    Very relaxing setting
